I can’t begin to express the depth of gratitude I have for Gigi, who walked with me not just as my sister/doula, but as a spirit-filled presence during two of the most sacred moments of my life. Her prayers, her peace, and her gentle strength created a space where I could feel God’s nearness in the midst of labor. Her calm presence, steady encouragement, and deep care carried me through every contraction and every wave of emotion. Her support was a gift from the Lord, and I truly believe He worked through her hands and heart to bring calm, courage, and love into my birthing space and I’ll cherish that forever.

Having Gigi right by my side during my labor and birth was truly a blessing from God. Looking back I don’t know what I would have done without her! Gigi arrived at my house within an hour’s notice and assisted me with my contractions so I was able to meet the criteria for my birth center to take me in. Gigi laid right next to me during the hour car ride to the birth center and applied counter-pressure on my lower back with every single contraction. Once we arrived at the birth center, Gigi helped care for my every need from helping me transition into different birthing positions, making sure I was hydrated and snacking as needed, providing emotional and spiritual support, praying with me, loving on my family for me - I could go on and on! Before Gigi arrived at my house I was scared out of my mind. When she arrived, everything changed. She helped me calm down, tap into my God-given inner strength and have my dream water-birth. It was truly a transformative experience and everything I could have hoped and prayed for.

Gigi was absolutely wonderful! I had her for my homebirth with my 4th child and it was peaceful, empowering and the best birth experience of all of my kiddos. She is just so amazing, calm, reassuring, and knowledgeable. She drove an hour to me, in a moments notice and was ready for everything in my very quick labor and delivery. There is not a thing about my birthing with her that I would change at all. It was a beautiful experience.
